Tanio Summer Street Party

We were super happy to be invited back again to our friends Tanio’s Summer Street Party in Bridgend. Rhian had lots of fun delivering 3 energetic, upbeat dance and movement sessions throughout the day, which was full of family friendly fun and activities.

Rhian is absolutely incredible, we love having her at the event and would love to have her again next year. She’s brilliant with the children, full of energy and passion for dance!

Beating the Bounds

8th June 2024

Afon Community Dance C.I.C were invited to perform at the celebration of Beating the Bounds in Llantrisant. This special celebration takes place every 7 years and we were very excited to be a part of it.

Two of our community groups, DanceAbout (5-7yrs) and Ignition (8-12yrs) performed fun celebratory dance pieces they had created for the event. And our two Dance In Schools classes from Llantrisant Primary also performed two dance works that explored the rich history surrounding Llantrisant.

A huge WELL DONE to all the dancers that took part! You were amazing!
